Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 and 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy communication director (2009-2011) and spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015 as well as the White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki was a contributor to the election to CNN between 2017 and 2020. Psaki began her career in 2001 when she worked on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki then served as press secretary in John Kerry's 2004 presidential election campaign. From 2005 until 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned in 2012 to the field of political communications serving as press secretary for President Obama’s 2012 campaign for reelection. [20] Psaki was appointed the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. It was believed that Psaki would be replacing Jay Carney as White House Press Secretary.[21] However, Josh Earnest was announced to succeed Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. She was named Communications Director at the White House and continued to continue to do so until the end of the year in 2015.
